UPDATE
sorry for not updating for a while it is just that not much has been happening until now.
I have found 2 queen s not an inch apart in 32'F under a log!
here are some pictures
I have not identified them but soon hope too!
They are currently housed in a test tube set up and is down stairs on the basement with the rest of my queens.

UPDATE
So i got some identification on the new ants one is a parasitic Laius! I can't wait to start that colony but help is wanted.
also i will be restarting this journal after hibernation for several reasons.
1 crematogaster is spelled wrong on the title
2 I want a journal for each of my colonies
3 on the first page most of the posts are just me trying learn how to do pictures.

my crematogaster (sorry for the name of the journal being misspelled
) queen got moved into the test tube portal and has eggs! I do not know if she laid them before hibernation or in hibernation because Bruenora laid eggs in hibernation. I got a heating pad for christmas and want to use it. I know they are supposed to be in hibernation but should I use it?
Also if any one wants to help give name suggestions for the crematogaster queen I am open for you to do so.
