AntHUB's Pogonomyrmex occidentalus colony

This July i caught around 8 Pogonomyrmex occidentalus queens. They all died except for one, even the one i brood boosted. The one queen I had left Introduced to a worker. The worker did not fight probably due to it missing half an antennae and it was also fall. this winter I dug up a huge colony of them but failed to find the queen. since it was winter there was also no brood. not knowing what to do with the workers i introduced 5 workers to the colony at first they fought and then i brought them outside and they got along. Then I introduced around 15 Pogonomyrmex occidentalus workers. now there are around 300 workers that have been introduced and still no problems. However I don't expect the queen to lay any eggs until the spring.
