I put my ants into hibernation last week. They're doing fine so far. I'm keeping them in a wine cooler set to a 45F temp. I'll place a mealworm and sugar liquid drop in their test tube portal twice a month.

Nice! Good luck with hibernation, hopefully they'll explode in population next spring.

I just found a camponotus colony across the street. They are yellow and black, can't wait till the fly!!! Also, when did you plan to take these out of hibernation?

Nice! I'll sell some on the gan, I'll give u a discount since you aren't a complete stranger  . For some wierd reason, I caught a tetramorium queen today as well. And btw, what you think is lasius may be prenolepis, they look very similar. I got three two and one queen setups for the imparis right now. I also found out that there are camponotus semitestaceus and camponotus vicinus right across the street :D
I currently have 17 P. Imparis queens and 1 tetramorium queen in founding.
