I've been feeding them every Saturday and the colony's growing nice. I took some photos and videos but i am thinking I will also start a yt channel to post about the colonies (along with some other hobbies) but not now as i can't find time (school and coaching both are destroying me)

Fed them a termite alate which was very hard to do. They were all swarming the cotton so i couldn't remove it . I just squeezed the alate through the cotton and none escaped

i still need to change their test tube. I tried to attach it and put light on their current test tube but even after two hours they didn't move. I removed that contraption and they're stole living in the old tt. I will share some photos gimme a minute
Edit:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/wTYuHBAGSz1wCCTN7 there you go. The latter photos are of them attached to the other tt

I had the other tt attached for a day and for some reason their old tt slightly flooded which prompted them to shift. There are still some worker and i think 1 larva being held hostage (brings back memories from when jeff was held back

). But they are doing fine with a nice pile of fresh brood

Fed them another termite alate. The colony is growing nice but the jam i fed them last week has molded but its on the dry side of the tt so it shouldn't affect the colony. The old tt is still attached as some workers just dont move out which is fine for me as i dont see any signs of harm from any mold

I don't know why but their queen has died. There are still a few workers left but i don't know what to do now.
The colony is dead. This is my first colony that has died

Upon further investigation it seems there was some sort of white mold which spread on the glass of the tt and possibly could be the reason of their death. I released the 5 workers who were still alive. There was some brood but it's not worth saving as it could also be infected and dead.
Guess it's the end of this thread :(

It was an awesome trend though, I loved it.
Maybe next colony we get the same journal.
