The carpenter ant experience.
Ok so like a month ago i found this winged camponotus queen in my patio window and now she has her nanitics and a big brood pile https://imgur.com/a/9n3iHUA (by the way they looks identical to the ebony army. Guess they are the same species?)

What country/state/providence are you in? I don’t know where Campeche is

It’s likely not the same species, but it could be Camponotus modoc. Not sure how accurate the ant wiki maps are… are the legs slightly reddish?
