Mites mites mites my worst nightmare.
Sadly the sugar society has been infected by mites , not as bad as Mikey Bustos' golden empire though luckily for me. :(

Most I have seen on one worker is two. I don't care if they are good mites bad mites or any mites, I want them gone so I put two slices of lemon in their outfield it Will be a bummer to loose this colony.

They love scrambled eggs and they don't usually swarm when they find food but this time after 5 minutes they were all over it

Really like your custom made setups :) . How's been with the mites? Lemon didn't fully solve the problem for Mikey afaik, he had to move the whole colony to a larger area where they could dump waste and get rid of mites in the way they do in the nature(?)

Also how does the styrofoam working out? don't they chew through it/how moldy/dirty does it get?

Gl with the colony in the future as well :)

Well they are coping well and now very few workers have mites and they do have sand in the outworld so they can bury their waste and mold is starting to grow on the wooden bottom, but I might have a nest 3D printed
