It was a disappointment. All had been going well. I had one queen with about 15 workers eggs etc and another who Had a large gaston, but hibernated without laying. I suspected she would have started to lay after hibernation.

They were nearly ready to come out of hibernation as they were getting more active and had been given a small fruit fly, which they had eaten and some honey water.
