Bruh i literally saw one springtail in their nest
Mine let them live for approximately 3 hours. Then death occurs due to pinching of mandibles and formic acid
Quick question, what happens if springtails move from the outworlds to the test tube? Like do they eat up the mould on the cotton?
They may eat the poop in the tube, and might also eat that mold.

Got it. I just dug up a pheidole colony, and they majors are different sizes.(Ever so slightly) Have you changed the diet recently? My Camponotus make majors when I only feed them superwomrs(But lots of nantics) and with crickets, flies, and superworms, it’s a mix between media, majors and workers.

If Jeff came first, colony spent all resources on her/him, and the larvae that they started to invest into after Jeff enclosed had already been fed sugar water and non healthy foods

RIP. Sometimes small species will come in your home to have flights. I have pheidole flying in my house every march(Only around 30 fly over the season in total). Also, try checking window sills. I have heard queens will rest on outdoor window sills
