Well, i removed the cotton which was in their watering chamber because it wasnt absorbing water(idk why) but when i simply put the water in that chamber, the cement wasnt absorbing the water either!? Why is that happening
Ants I have-

Try warm water(Better for ytong and aac). Maybe Cotten fibers are blocking the absorption?

I removed the cotton and filled it with tissue paper which absorbs water pretty well. Now i have to wait and see if it humidifies it also

Toilet paper dissolves in water… beware of tunneling ants

I have a similar situation. (Btw I see some springtails are actually less scared of humans). My Odontomachus would bring food into the nest. They recently stopped though, but just a few days ago a spotted some brown springtails. I don’t have brown springtails, as the store I bought my culture from only sells white springtails. Now those brown ones just chill near the larvae, waiting for food. Due to ytong nest, I can never see them using light.

Ants keep foraging but I don't know what for. They have honey and protein so are they just going out for a walk?
