Yeh they definitely like orange juice. Replaced the cotton very easily. Very less ants are now going in the portal. Usually there are always two but now no ants came out side when i was replacing cotton. They are active and its still hot here so i dunno why they are so less active.

Introduced them to their outworld!! It was pretty easy. They dont seem to care . One ant will go and come back.

So i was fiddling around with their outworld and i put some gravel in it, and some wood slice ( i dont know what to call them but they are thin bark slice) and gave them some biscuit powder but they ignored it. Then i gave them cucumber seed and they really liked it. I saw a dead isopod from my farm and gave it to them and they completely destroyed it into pieces
Edit: so a fruit is also banned. C.u.c.u.m.b.e.r seeds

Ok so either my ants are really picky or completely full. At least two ants will be in their outworld and forage but when it place honey or banana they completely ignore it. What i have observed is that ants will only forage if they dont have much food but they forage and dont take the food. But if u plac insects they take it. Are they just collecting extra insects but dont need sugars? Im so confused

There's this huge larvae thats been eating so much that its bigger than the adult ants. I dont think c. Compressus have majors because there is no info about them but maybe this could be an alate. But like really the larvae is fat

Re: My queen ant journal
I believe all Camponotus have majors but not 100% sure. And that's also quite an early time for the colony to have majors, just like my Camponotus irritans colony (they had their first major when they only had like 10 workers).
