Happy Indian republic day!! I also made a macro lens all by myself!!

I found this lens from a laser pointer and attached it to a cardboard. Then i stuck it in-between the cover case of my phone to attach it. I have to go very close for it to work but it works great

I made another of these lense with another broken laser pointer lens( dont ask why i have so many broken laser pointers)
And I took a photo of my moth cocoon with it. One is with the old lens and other with the new one
https://photos.app.goo.gl/sgw59mfbpvTX5AFa6
The difference is that the old lens takes a closup of a larger area whereas the new one specially focuses on one point and takes high quality of that place. I did think of attaching both together to make the ultimate microscope but that just didn't work at all :(
Do tell me which one you like or if you like these lenses at all. I really loved the idea of macro photography ever since i watched a YouTube video. But my dad said it isn't worth it to get a camera for snapping insect photos

What I did, is got a macro lease attachment. It works for most devices, but it was 60$…. It has smth like a macro Clarus lease x15 and a 0.45 wide angle lense.

Woo ants in hibernation still!! There's literally nothing to do with them. Good thing i bought a syringe and fattened them with honey so there's that content

Seems like the queen laid more eggs. The honey seems to make her happy. I will attach the outworld next week because they seem to come out of hibernation

Same, my ants seem to be laying more eggs, and emerging from their partial inactivity(my campo don’t usually hibernate in captvity but slight diapause)
