I gave the ants some cocopeat in their outworld. Not alot of ant are foraging. Maybe because some of them died. No more ants are dying now and they put gravel on the honey and papaya i gave them. All the larvae they had has a cocoon and jeff is looking big. Maybe in a week she will come out. Queen laid a huge batch of eggs and her gaster looks to be filled with eggs so i can assume a population explosion :D

Queen laid a huge batch of eggs. Maybe 20 eggs. No larvae as all of them became cocoon. Its slightly cold so maybe the growth has slowed down. I gave them an isopod but they ignored it. I also gave the jalebi( its an indian sweet dish and is filled with suger) and they loved it. Population is going to be huge by the next month :D

Theres red alert for heavy rainfall in the neighboring state and its raining here also. Its very chilly and humid. Because of that the ants have scattered brood around. Total 27 workers, 9 cocoon out of which 2 are ready to come out. Mist of the eggs have hatched. The ants are doing a good job at feeding them because they have 5 repletes. Ants are foraging but they don't eat sugar. They probably want meat. I will soon get some mealworms to give them. I watched alot of ant vids on these girls. Now i am 100 percent sure they are c. Compressus. They have majors too but they are alot larger than workers. So maybe jeff isn't the major :(

Jeff may turn out to be a major or maybe a median worker.
