Day 1.
Had to transfer 1 Winged queen to different test tube water the test tube it was in had a mold or fungus growth in the water, did not want to risk anything.
Non-winged queen has 5 eggs near the Water cotton ball.
Currently have them placed in a Storage closet that has no access to light, and is about 21-23 degrees Celsius consistently.
During the day the queens were not very active just checked on them the queens are much more active currently.
The winged Queen is pulling on the water cotton swab, While the other queen was just wandering around in the tube.
Will check on them again momentarily tomorrow with minimal exposure to light or movement.

Day 4.
The Queen that had 5 eggs now has 3 more to put it up to 8 but she put them on the other wall of the test tube still near the Water cotton ball just on the opposite side of the first 5.
The Winged Queen still have not seen any eggs but haven't looked using light just a Jewelers Loupe with the light off and Ambient light no direct light on the tubes.

Day 5.
Unwinged Queen has moved 2 eggs from the set of 5 to the set of 3.
The Winged Queen has 1 egg that i have found so far laid almost right against the Water cotton ball, Thinking there may be more that are on or stuff around the Cotton ball.
Will check on them again on Monday when my Red light flashlight and red light filter sheets arrive.

Day 7.
Red light flashlight and red filter sheets arrived today. The queens do not seem to be disturbed by the red light flashlight on dim setting, opposed to when using the led light on the jewelers loupe they were clearly stressed and tried to escape from the light. I also tried the Filter sheet over top of the tubes and the red light very slim difference as it only made it a little dimmer.
The unwinged queen has moved most of the eggs into a cluster and is sitting on top of them.
The winged queen still at 1 visible egg but i am begging to suspect she may actually have more in the very center of the cotton ball as that is where she stays almost all day.
Now the struggle is to find a magnifying glass to use i ordered one off amazon that had 3 lenses 2.5 3.5 and 10 but the 10 is very blurry so the jewelers loupe still works better will try this since 5x mag on a later date. Also currently looking at a Sony camcorder that has NV bit pricey at 800 CAD but could be used for more than just the ant project so 50/50 on the fence.

Day 8
The wingless Queen is up to about 15 eggs she left 3 of her first eggs on the wall the rest she has started to pile up the eggs into 2-3 piles so far. Double stacked red light filter sheet just to be safe when i checked on them today.

The Winged queen still is positioned right in the middle of the water cotton ball.

Will check on them again in 4-5 days.

Day 13

Winged queen has laid some eggs visibly now cannot tell exact amount fur to the red filter paper causing the 10x magnifying glass to lose some focus.

Unwinged Queen has hidden most of her eggs since i last checked (hoping she did not eat them), there are still 3 on the side wall.

Post note.

Unwinged Queen also pulled the top of the water cotton until it formed a ridge so i cannot see underneath it unless i turn the test tube but i am trying to avoid doing that as much as possible.
