Ants keeping Pupea outside of nest

Hi, my ant colony keeps bringing their pupea outside of there nest then back in. Maybe once or twice a day. I have a natural setup combining the dirt/sand nest with bigger gravel at the buttom. Im thinking maybe the nest is too demp. Im not sure. What are your thoughs? I originally found the colony from the wild with a queen in a sandy playground. Specie, for what i think is Formica Fusca. They now have around 25 to 35 worker and the same amount of pupea. They dont bring any eggs or larvae out. Just the pupea.

Some Formica ants and other ant genuses (if that’s a word lol  ) create hills, and bring up their pupae around there. They essentially “bake their pupae” so the pupae develops faster. So don’t worry about anything.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.

Like TheRealAntMan said, they move them up there to warm them up. The warmer insects are, the faster their body processes go, this includes pupae development.

The word is genera.
