Hey guys,
After a lot of research I believe I have nailed down the species of my first ever queen to Formica incerta. Any tips on caring for these guys? Should I be expecting a thriving colony if I only have one queen and they are polygynous? I already have some eggs that now look like little worms! I also bought the AntsCanada all you need Formica hybrid package. Thanks for any tips!!

Re: Formica Incerta Care
Similar in care to Formica pallidefulva, which are similar in care to Formica subaenescens/"fusca".
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
