What's Next?

So earlier I had made a post asking if I had caught a queen during my adventure. Since then I had her in a test tube set up and it appears she has laid a clutch of eggs. They haven't hatched yet but I would like to know what is the next step for care not only for hopefully this future colony but queen as well. The queen is a carpenter ant if that helps. Do I feed her? How long does it take for eggs to mature and hatch? Any helpful tips and facts to keep in mind? I really just want to be able to take care of them to the best of my abilities so please help.

really carpenter ants are one of my favorite because you do nothing at this stage. don't feed her don't disturb her. really just shove them in a drawer and look at them once a week to make sure everything is fine. you should have workers in about 1 month.
