My old ant setup for camponotus founding chamber started molding due to the queen shedding her wings in the chamber. You can see it in the right corner of the chamber. So I turned a new chamber on my wood lathe.

What does it look like inside? Are there tunnels?

Nah. Just an upsidedown bowl poplar and a bottom made of pine. This is their first year so they don't have loads of workers. I plan on carving something out of wood for them when the colony outgrows this. Then it'll have chambers.
