Hey my worker hatched about 2 weeks ago and I forgot to ask but I only have one worker.... the reason is because the queen only layed one egg. I eventually grew up and hatch two weeks ago. Why though?
2: also since she only has one egg and they say to move your colony into a nest at 20 workers what should I do?
Ps: it's Formica Subcericia

Re: Only one worker and moving
It can be normal for just one worker. Place a piece of drinking straw through the cotton on the end of the tube and place it in an outworld. Feed the colony in there. Raise the colony in the testube
Keeping.
