C. nearcticus...

Ok, so the other night I came across a Camponotus nearcticus queen. I have her all set up in a glass test tube and yea...but it seems she does absolutely nothing but pull and pull at her cotton! I need some insight as to why? I have caught a few other different queens the last few days and they have all settled down but this lil last won't. Is this normal? Thanks for any information guys.

Formica pallidefulva x2
Formica subsericea x4

You can always try a new testtube for the queen. Sometimes they just don't feel comfortable in their testtube.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
