Seeking Advice - Bug Bombs/Bug Fogging house

So we have has a few too many run-ins with corckroachs or spiders crawling in through the pipes/air vents this summer.
As such everyone in my house has voted to use insect foggers to bomb the house.

This is fine.

But I'm curious when I should bring my ants back inside.
Thankfully they are in test tubes currently, though I worry about stressing them out.
I do have plastic storage bins I bought to transport them around if I need too, and I can put towels to block the light.
I just gave them fresh tubes of water so no worry about dehydration.
I'd really hate to leave them outside for too long, its been extremely hot outside, which is fine for the wild ants but for the last month these babies have been coddled at 77-85 degrees.

The fogger only goes off for half - 1 hour and humans/pets can return in 2-3 hours.

Does anyone else have experience with using bug foggers/bombs in their house and bringing pet ants back inside?

Thanks for your time and help. ^^
