So, I caught a new queen yesterday and am wondering how to best found her colony. Is she like crematogaster in that she just needs to be left alone in the dark for a while? Do I need to feed her every so often? If so, just sugary stuff or should it also be protein sources? Is this species easy to care for and raise into a proper colony?

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Unfortunately, the queen ended up dying out of nowhere...
