I have found 2 s. fugax queen last year and 1 layed eggs and they hatched their now up to a size of about 20-30 workers.
Now i wanted to introduce the 2. one because s. fugax is poly. and put them together in a setup. The 2 queens are in different testtubes and today i found like 2-3 dead workers in the testtube of the 2. queem and I don't know what to do now. Should i keep them togeter or should i seperate them?

If the killing stops it is probably fine. Sometimes it just takes a little bit for the new queen to get used to the workers.Wildnix wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 2:56 pmI have found 2 s. fugax queen last year and 1 layed eggs and they hatched their now up to a size of about 20-30 workers.

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
