Heating cable questions
so I have about ten lasius neoniger ants, and they are currently in test tubes. I bought them off of the AntsCanada website, and just have a few questions about how to use it. would I keep it on all of the time? how far away from the ants should it be? should it be in an enclosed space? if someone could help, that would be very helpful.

Re: Heating cable questions
Keep the heating cable to one side to let the ants switch sides depending on their heat requirements. Also, I would suggest continually heating the test tubes.antboy2009 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 2:13 pmso I have about ten lasius neoniger ants, and they are currently in test tubes. Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
