A few Nanitics died

Hi guys recently my iridomyrmex sp queen’s pupae became nanitics. Currently there are about 14 workers, but a few of them drowned in the honey I have them (4 to be precise) I was wondering if this will majorly impact the colony since they are very vulnerable at the moment?

Also if anyone has any advice on feeding or other info? Like when to feed them
ant colonies owned

monomorium sp
iridomyrmex bicknelli
Nylanderia sp
Myrmecia simillima

You still have to major amount of the population left. They will survive this setback. Next time, what you can do to make sure it does not happen again is give them smaller amounts of honey, so like a drop. You can also put some sand or rocks on the honey. I would suggest removing/replacing the honey that killed tham if you have not already.

You can feed them fruits and protiens maybe twice a week, or 3 if you feel like it. A sugger product and a protien product should be good every week.
I hope to hear more about your colony in the future!
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]
