Worker attacking queen?

Hi,
I have a newly formed colony of Pogonomyrmex. Since June/july.
They are in a large ant tower and have access to an outworld.
I have a extra tube with cotton and water for water, which they also use for trash dump (easy for me!)

However, the other day I noticed one ant trying to drag my queen (80% sure) in the tube biting the legs. I cleaned the tube out and the Queen went back down into the spot where she originally started her nest.
Today, same thing, I managed to separate the offending worker, and she is now trying to get back into the nest, in her same spot, which the workers have since closed up. The rest the ants meet and communicate/clean with her before going back to what else they are doing.

They are starting to brumate somewhat, and going to move them to a better spot to allow that.
They get fed regularly with dandelion seeds, betta pellets and a cricket once a week. Water is half way in the water trough. No significant issues of mold that I can tell.

Not sure what's going on.

The worker was probably trying to move the queen, that is normal.

I hope so, I just got worried as it was in the "Trash" dump area and out of the nest.

The queen was? If so that means that the worker was probably trying to take the queen back to the nest.

its vary common for lassis sp to do this i seen it happen in my back yard 2 times now its pretty neat to see them move a queen as she always go last and have 10 guards around her/moving her yeah that is normal unless you see the queen start to fight back like bite at the workers then your good

Or you were probably seeing them killing freshly mated queens....

nah they was the same sp they also moved all eggs before they moved the queen
