how do I give my ants water without a test tube
Hello, I have 18 lasius niger queens, and 16 of them are in test tubes. However, 2 of them are in terrariums with dirt in them, to see how they naturally do it, for a school project. I just want to know how to give them water, I have been spraying them with water, and they have only been in there for a day. They do have a test tube with water, but I'm assuming that the queens won't go there to get it. also, I am using potting soil as a digging medium, but im wondering if that was the right choice. thanks!

I think they can drink out of the soil. Potting soil should work.antboy2009 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 10:05 amHello, I have 18 lasius niger queens, and 16 of them are in test tubes. Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Like said formerly, ants do drink out of the soil, or off of leaves and the walls of the container.Hello, I have 18 lasius niger queens, and 16 of them are in test tubes. What happened with them? Did they fail? Or were they successful?
