I would connect the old test tube and the new one to a AC test tube portal, and once the old one runs out of water, they should move. If the situation is more urgent I would directly connect the 2 test tubes, and shine a bright light on the old one.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

I also tried it with a little bit of heat. They were really unconfortable with it.

Well, once it is completely dried (like the cotton has dried out and all the water vapor has escaped) they won’t be able to keep the brood there, so I would just do it like I said earlier.

Ok, I think it should work, but some colonies are just so stubborn. If they have not moved after a week or so, let me know and I should be able to think of something! ;)

I think, that they just got used to light. Usually i would just conect them to an ac testubeportal but th testube isnt the right size. I've to hybernate them soon.
