Nest seems a little bit, but I am sure they will grow into it.

I think one for all of them is typically a little cluttered. Some people like SYUTEO have kept theirs updated and in check, but if you only have one or two just make one for each.

Ants like to have flights after a 30 minute rain or a heavy rain, depending on species. What genus are you trying to catch?
Well I will be happy with quite a few most of witch I know is in my area including Polyrhachis, Tetraponera rufonigra, and Asian weaver ants. But if I can find any, then I will be incredibly happy with Dinomyrmex, however I have come to accept that the probability of ever finding Dinomyrmex is incredibly low.
Have you started looking yet? You'll never know when you might find a locality of previously undiscovered D. gigas.
I still have the dream of D. gigas in mind. There is a trail leading into it which I had followed a bit. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but the outer layers of the forest looks disturbed. People throw their bio waste like branches and leaves into it, and at the entrance of our village is a path leading into the forest where people live, (this one is big enough to fit a car, the one I went into is too small). I also don't know how big the forest is, and if there is D. gigas then I'd imagine their deep inside it. The forest is also very dense with vegetation, I could unknowingly walk into dangerous spiders or snakes, and they might get defensive and attack me. I don't know why, but for some reason I keep imagining walking by a D. gigas dealate when walking along the outside of the forest looking for a point of entry.

Do you think my ants will feel more comfortable if I add substrate and even some cleanup crew in their small out world?

I heard sunburst nectar is a very nutritional option for ants, but I can find a website based in Southeast Asia that sells it, do you know a reliable source I can get it from? Maybe Amazon, but I don't know how trust worthy they are and if they would deliver the actual thing and not a knock-off.

If you are worried about a rip off, you can buy it from one if ByFormica’s retailers, Antkeeping depot.

I never tried it but you can try it if you want, start with a small drop and if they like it. Also make sure the milk you're using is safe.

So far this colony is doing very well, to keep their diet varied, I'm attempting to catch a mosquito, put it in the freezer to force it into suspended animation, then I catch another one. After a few I will release them into my colony's out world, and voila they have food.

Do you make sugar water just by mixing sugar into boiling water? And if so are there any ways I can make it more nutritious for my ants.
