Ant's mating in captivity
I caught this male pavment ant in my back yard and luckily I had a pavement ant alate, so I place them in a small jar. Any recommendations on how to make this work? Will post pics soon.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Someone in my Area got Camponotus to mate in an 8mm tube, but he left them in there for 3 days.Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 6:37 pmI caught this male pavment ant in my back yard and luckily I had a pavement ant alate, so I place them in a small jar.
