If you are worried, you can easily wet the Cotten that you plug the tube with. That way, she can 100% access the water.Ostrichking371 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:39 amOkay! You’re sure she can access the water and turn around?! Thanks, just don’t want to mess up my first colony!

Re: Test Tube Width
I think I will leave her be for now. I took one last peek today and I’m pretty sure she was facing the water!

I know you’ve already answered this, but as it’s forth of July, my dog will likely bark, constantly. is there something I should do to keep it from bothering her, or will repeated (VERY loud) barking not bother her very much. Thanks!

Oh, I see. Maybe wrap her in a cloth, and you can also use styrofoam to keep her vibration free. Happy Fourth of July!Ostrichking371 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 4:52 pmI know you’ve already answered this, but as it’s forth of July, my dog will likely bark, constantly. is there something I should do to keep it from bothering her, or will repeated (VERY loud) barking not bother her very much. Re: Test Tube Width
I checked on my queen ant today! I was pretty sad to see that the pupa was still there without emerging. The one larva I saw last week was Sedona larger today. No more larvae had hatched from her pile of eggs . Like I said earlier, I just received a Camponotus AC Gear Pack and have AC test tubes, adapters, test tube portals, hybrid nest, and outworld (which I know I won’t need for a while). Should I attempt to move her into a portal or one of the more spacious AC test tubes yet? Or should I wait for a while?

Wait. I have moved queens with brood, and they eat it 90% of the time. Is the pupae darker? (If you concerned about water, wet Cotten blocking entrance)Ostrichking371 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 08, 2022 8:21 amI checked on my queen ant today! No the pupa is tan! She has a black dot on on end and it is pretty light. Her larva is clear with a black lump in the middle.
