Hi,
I was recently given a Camponotus ant colony in a formicarium with tunnels in glass by somebody. For some reason, their population has shrunk, and now they do not go near to the only nest entrance.
Is there any way to get them closer to the entrance so I can offer them food easily?
Thanks!

1) Heat the part of the nest you want them to move to
2) Make the current nesting spot uncomfortable by uncovering it, exposing it to light
Also, maybe provide some substrate as the colony may feel exposed, so it allows them to make the entrance smaller.
