Hello,
I recently repotted my oak tree into a bigger pot and the ants seem like they're moving into it. I not 100% sure but it looks like they're covering it with dirt. I want to know if they are and if I can do something to stop it without killing them.
Thanks
Sam

If it is in a pot, you could find the queen and relocate/sell the colony.SamikB wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 10:42 amHello,

I'm not sure if she is but there is 50-100 ants under the pot when I lift it, if that helps.

Is the queen there? It may be they are setting up a new nest.

They could end up being beneficial for some pests, as black garden ants don’t bite. They do farm aphids though…
