Hi,hello
Good night And good day
wherever you are i wish you a lucky day
This Topic, from now on will be my formicarium problems, any question regarding my formicarium problems will be posted here...i hope this is more convenient And Not bothersome
As my first question will be about "should i feed my ants whilst they make nests"

so that is,any solution and Answer will be appreciated
And lemme know about your opinion, about this new way of my topic,i hope this is better And more tiddy
Also,i'm sorry if i only posts about question not an answer...i still got little clue about this hobby and i'm still learning....
sorry for the trouble and i really thank you for reading and answering this topic

Re: My Formicarium Problems
Yeah you can feed them while they dig. It will provide energy to them
Ants I have-
camponotus compressus colony- the shadow warriors.
Pls just let me have a tetramorium colony

Best if it is. Or protein so they don’t focus on feeding teh brood while they dig, make it carbs so they aren’t tired from movingAntloverhuman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 2:36 amYeah you can feed them while they dig. It will provide energy to them

Re: My Formicarium Problems
The larvae mainly eat protien and a tiny bit of carbs. Most the carbs are used by the mature workers to provide energy to do work

Okay i see,by the way they done digging and all of eggs and queens and remaining colony already got into the tunnel...but something is kinda oddAntloverhuman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 12:13 amThe larvae mainly eat protien and a tiny bit of carbs. some tapinoma's got inside my formicarium and they searching for food that i gave to my ant's before...but the ant's seems like don't care...they don't even move...but they are still alive
they're just not active at all
are meramoplus bicolor like that? cause i heard that they are pretty chill with other colony and they kinda slow

Re: My Formicarium Problems
Just let them move over time, unless there is a lot of mold. You could try light though, for a hastier move.cosmo1190 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 5:04 amI'm kinda worried cause they don't move at all...but they're alive...should give them some bright kind of lightning on top?cosmo1190 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 12:57 amOkay i see,by the way they done digging and all of eggs and queens and remaining colony already got into the tunnel...but something is kinda oddAntloverhuman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 12:13 amThe larvae mainly eat protien and a tiny bit of carbs.
