Stagnate founding stage
I bought the ‘All You Need’ Lasius Hybrid 2.0 Gear Pack. My question is if you can offer any advice for the new queens I got. I ordered a Lasius Flavus queen and got two. One of them had about 8 workers, and the other was by herself. I got them two months ago. After a week or two, I thought they could use some honey, and their cotton was starting to get moldy. I attached them to the Test Tube Portals and attached a fresh water test tube. I then covered the new test tube and let the moldy one's get light. I also put some honey in the center.
Now it's been two months and no change. The ants haven't moved. There are no new ants. The lonely queen may have laid some eggs, but nothing has hatched. It doesn't look like they've touched the honey either. They still move a little bit, but I'm surprised they are still alive at this point. I'm trying to figure out why they aren't leaving the moldy side. Are they more concerned with protecting the queen at this stage? Is there anything I should be doing differently to get them to move and make more ants? Thanks for any help!

If that's the case, is there anything I should do other than leave them be? Should I heat up their environment to wake them up, or is that not what you should do?

How bad is the mold? They should be coming out of hibernation soon

The cotton is pretty black. I'm trying to attach a photo but I keep getting "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.".

Put it on imgur.com and put the link in here.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

Attach a clean tube, and let them move on their own. When do they come out of hibernation? (I would onyl be worried with Camponotus, they are suicidal)
