Hi! My colony is growing well, and now have at least 40 workers! They seem to be consuming more food, that made me wonder how often should I feed them?
Usually every other day with a constant source of carbohydrates

Ok, sounds good!
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

My colony is not very good at cleaning up their garbage :?. So I was wondering is there is a way I can add spring tails or isopods?
(They still live in the nest that I have shown in previous photos.)

No isopods. It causes stress and they end up killing them. Put springtails in the outworld and they will find their way usually. My ants just kill springtails on sight so I have to take the glass off, which is a pain.

Also how can I acquire spring tails without buying them?

I guess I’ll just buy them online since they are pretty cheap, and it does not seem worth catching them.

If you catch 10 you can do it, but I recommend buying some. It comes with everything they need, so it’s easier and less time consuming.

Ok, well I caught about 12 and put them in a setup like SerpaDesign showed in his vided, hopefully they will start reproducing...
