as long as you can see the cotton its fine. unless like the water changes colour then you have to evacuate.
My water usually doesn’t change color before the mold corrupts the Cotten

Hello! I should give an update on this:
Both queens did not make it. They lived for a few months after, but one day I looked in and saw both were not responsive.

This is alright! I have found two new queens this summer, one of which has successfully laid eggs and hatched out a few workers.
