How do I exterminate it without hurting the colony.

Your old queen, was the body infested with these? If they are mites, both queens are Lilly from the same colony. Also, some queens do die during founding stage, and you can’t prevent it. For example, when I caught my latest Ed queens of this spieces, I lost about 4/7 due to infertility. If it is mites, I would wait for workers.Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 12:07 pmHow do I exterminate it without hurting the colony.

Some advice is, how often did you check her? This is also a reason NOT to make multi queen set ups, unless you have backup queens.Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 2:40 pmNo she was upside down with her legs folded the pink thing grew bigger but it was not on her body.

Try to miminize checking once every 3 days max. Most would say 4, but I think 3 would be fine.

Invicta do not do well in cold. It could kill her, as she has no dirt like she would in the wild to go deeper. It depends on the garage temperature, but I assume it is cold in Chicago(that’s where u r right?)Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 7:53 pmOk
