Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

Re: emergency pink things attacking my queens
Maybe they are a young type of mites or they don't get much light. Some animals have a very pale color due to a lack of light. But in any case we will need to wait for him to provide pictures so we can have a closer look.AntsAntsAnts wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 4:14 amI have never heard of pink mites... but maybe I'm wrong. the micro world will never stop giving me headaches.

I would think this is some sort of mite or mold spore, but I have never seen that on invicta. You can scroll down to the parasite section in the link(I swear why all parasites) If the queen has pupae you might be ok, as you would get workers before it became a problem. Some people claim that with smaller ants, mites can be cleaned off by nanatics.Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 5:27 amHers is some picks these things killed my last queen and this one is my last one.

Re: emergency pink things attacking my queens
You have basically two options.Mohammadmacapundag wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 8:34 amthere is only larvae and a few eggs how do I get rid of the pink stuff?
- You move the queen to a new testtube and try to transfer the eggs
There are enough ways to try and tackle this option's second step.
- You use fine and pointy tweezers to try and grab / kill the pink insect / mite to get ride of it.
