I don't have tweezers ant the pink thing is gooey I tried to squish it before with my last queen all it did was spread it all over the place plus I've been disturbing her a lot since that pink thing showed up.

Sounds like mold almost… it may be something on the Cotten ball or water when u put into in

How do I exterminate it without hurting the colony.

Your old queen, was the body infested with these? If they are mites, both queens are Lilly from the same colony. Also, some queens do die during founding stage, and you can’t prevent it. For example, when I caught my latest Ed queens of this spieces, I lost about 4/7 due to infertility. If it is mites, I would wait for workers.

No she was upside down with her legs folded the pink thing grew bigger but it was not on her body.

Some advice is, how often did you check her? This is also a reason NOT to make multi queen set ups, unless you have backup queens.

Try to miminize checking once every 3 days max. Most would say 4, but I think 3 would be fine.

Is it okey to keep them in the garage it's currently winter so it could be to cold in the garage.

Invicta do not do well in cold. It could kill her, as she has no dirt like she would in the wild to go deeper. It depends on the garage temperature, but I assume it is cold in Chicago(that’s where u r right?)
