That explains then why they shipped them. So they aren't an ants only antstore.
On another possibly unrelated note, I was talking to someone years ago who wanted to keep a small poisonous frogs but he needed ants as feeder insects since the frogs were very small. He couldn't keep fire ants for that purpose since those would make the frogs poisonous in the first place. It was something about the substance inside those ants.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

The one did reply was not selling them, and wanted you to contact for availability. At least they replied. I literally emailed every one in flordia who was selling Camponotus Floridanus and Colobopsis impressa. That’s why I ended up ordering Camponotus Floridanus from my state online.
Did they actually offer delivery or did they say, you an order online but have to come and pick them up? At the ant store in Berlin it is like that since they care about ants a lot.
No they shipped. Would have picked up if I could. I also saved them from some reptiles as they were being sold as feeder insects!! Reptiles do need to eat though….

Ants aren’t that bad. But as feeder insects, yes, Becuase reptiles that are larger will consume 100s of workers a week, leading to the colonies doom
