If they are local ants NO. It would most likely kill them. Tropical ants (and ants from regions where it never gets cold) do not hibernate.
Some of them do have some sort of "summer break" (usually 2 about months) but they do not need cooling - in fact they're programmed to endure the summer months in their nest because where they live it gets so boiling hot that they cannot survive above ground during the summer.
If an ONLY IF they are ants from temperate northern regions (where winter actually occurs) they do hibernate. You need to buy an incubator (one that can also cools, lizard owners use these to hibernate their pets) or store them in the refrigerator (check temperature, below 15°C is bad!).

thay are local ants but it does get cold sometimes but rarely close to freezing.
