Are you feeding them enough and what are you feeding them? Did you give them water and how much? Try to post a picture of the queen or workers and I'll try to identify it.

They are a Camponotus sp. Did you check them for mites or other parasites? How do you give them water? I heard Camponotus don't nest in high humidity and prefer medium to low humidity.

I didn’t see any parasites, I try my best after watching the campo guide in AntsCanada, and im keeping them as dry as possible for them to not hydrate too.

Don't forget that they still need to drink water, you can provide them a fresh test tube setup for them in the outworld. Also try feeding them insects.

If they are in an AC nest, or anything like it, it may be they are building up waste… another possibility is if you didn’t wash it before using, some disease got in somewhere along the way

I have a familiar situation. My friend had a 4 worker colony of carpenter ants but the queen stupidly decided that it would suicide and didn't produce any more workers. This could be your case, perhaps not because I do see a small brood pile though it only consists of eggs. Additionally, the colony should've been much bigger after 1 year so...

all my queens died :(
got a sugar ant colony started :)

Holy, the same for me exactly. It had 20 workers back then and now it decreased. If you can find any more issues then please inform me.

There also could be my thought, its hibernating.
I might be doing this wrong though. Campo Sp. seems like they do hibernate, but I’m in a tropical country, anyone have thoughts?
