welp.
i tried my best to keep them from losing any workers, but thier size is still decreasing. it is now their second year and that is my only hope. i heard campotnotus get bigger in size at their second year. cant really know though.
should i catch bugs from my area too? i cant buy things like cockroaches because my family fears them.

Camponotus is actually a slow-growing species. However, just be aware that wild-caught insects may have pesticides on them which will kill eveyrone.
keeping:

got a sugar ant colony started :)

You can try to buy a culture of flightless fruit flies. My Camponotus love them, but you have to make sure you leave some to lay eggs and to start a culture.

Really? Im glad. One thing is I am mostly far from other ant supply store, and I live in Singapore, are there any ant supply shops in Singapore somewhere, and I’m afraid that family also fears flightless ones too, as they fear most insects.

I didn’t really find any, have other ideas?

But I did get them an apple to eat. They devoured it.

They have 5 workers now, some brood, but I’m afraid it would’t be like growing 1 second.

Any other food I could give them?

Are there wild colonies? If so, you can try digging them up for brood, or if they live under a rock, lift up the rock and there will be tons of cocoons.
