Yesterday I was walikng in my yard, until I found a Solenopsis Invicta queen walking across the medium-dried mud.
I capture her and get her into a lego brick mini ant nest, but someone told me that legos aren't good for ants, so I get her into a freshly-cleaned test tube set up, but I am worried. The queen didn't have her wings, I know is a queen because I already own one, but she didn't have wings, Her gaster is pretty full, but her wings serve as extra food to her.
What should I do?
Should I give her some food?
Or what?
Got new queen! But...

You wont have to worry about her as most queens will not eat their wings but instead discard them. Her actual food is broken down muscle tissue from her thorax which used to power her wings.
