New Queen , first worker hatched. Need advice.

I have a Queen Carpenter ant in an Uncle Milton Ant Farm. She has laid 2 eggs and one has hatched. Wondering if I should put food into the farm now or later.

The thing is, the queen blocked off the entrance to the tunnel she made so should I wait until the entrance is open again?

Thanks
