When a Camponotus queen gets her first nanitic, you feed them a week after right?
I feed mine a few hours or a day after, I start with something safe like honey. Then later I give them protein to feed to the brood.
Keeping:

• Cataulacus granulatus x2
• Camponotus parius
• Odontomachus sp x4
• Pheidole prava x1
• Pseudoneoponera sp x1

You could try it sooner but most of the time the won't except food until a week.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

SYUTEO, have you been stung by a Tetraponera rufonigra ant before? If you have could you compare it to that of a Diacamma sting?

I feed mine once I get a few nantics or the queen looks really thin

I have never been stung by them but according to some who have been, their sting is 5x worse than a sting from Solenopsis geminata. Btw this video should hopefully help you raise them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJpYnlxFdoQ&t=1s

Some people with an allergic reaction to their stings reportedly had dizziness, high fever and red swelling. Someone even got to ICU.

I heard people whom are allergic to bull ant stings could die from them. Thanks for the vid.

I had a friend, and he was stung by Tetraponera rufonigra. He was stung in the arm and he said his whole arm was tingiling and there was swelling. They are everywhere here
Favorite ant:
Polyrhachis/Echinopla

Founding:
-Dark Camponotus nicobarensis
-Polyrhachis illaudata
-Polyrhachis beccarii
-Polyrhachis rastellata 2x

Beginners must not keep Polyrhachis!

Same here, in fact their more common here than Diacamma, so I'm surprised I didn't get stung by one yet. However from what I've heard, it sounds more powerful than that of Diacamma.

Same with harvester ants and sometimes fire ants.
