Monomorium Florica
If anyone has any information about this ant species, please tell me. Stuff like queen/worker length, polymorphism, how they travel, (straight or random) what wild colonies live in, etc. Thx in advance. (Yes I copy/pasted from my last post, there are 3 species I'm gathering information about.)

Re: Monomorium Florica
The only way of obtaining a colony of Monomorium floricola is by collecting the colony itself because they don't have nuptial flights because the queens don't have wings and thus they don't have wing scars. Workers are approximately 3 mm in length and queens are about 8-9mm. They walk slower than most ants and they live in wherever that is dark (a crack in a wall, under loose leaf litter etc). They are usually found in places where there are flowers and that's why they are called flower ants.
