Cotton On Test Tube
Hello,it's me again..
I have been asking so much but..
i have small question..is tight cotton good for test tube or should i use the loose one
And will it suffocated the ant? cause my cotton are pretty dense

Re: Cotton On Test Tube
If you put too much cotton at the end of the test tube, she will suffocate.
Depends on species, but just make sure that it isn't to damp that the ants drown.

Re: Cotton On Test Tube
Remove a little of the cotton to make it looser.
Yes, if the cotton is too loose, the ants can pull the cotton and escape. And, wild ants especially Argentine ants, Pharaoh ants and Ghost ants can get past the cotton and attack your ants.

Re: Cotton On Test Tube
Just enough to cover up the hole but not too much that it takes a lot of force to get it out. Approximately half a cotton ball, if that's still too tight then keep removing small bits of cotton until it's ok.
