Try not to disturb her for two weeks and see if that helps,.

I'll try leaving her for two weeks as you suggested, I am already in the process of doing that actually but if I see no progress I'll probably release her back into the wild

Before releasing I would try at least one second testtube. Sometimes the queens just don't like the testtube for whatever reason. So that could be why she keeps eating her eggs to find a better spot.

Good idea, I'll try that afterwards, I do have one more question, must I feed her protein now since she ate all her eggs? I'm guessing she no longer has enough protein from her wing muscles anymore

If you have cut a little put of a mealworm or take a cockroach leg if you have those and place it in the testtube for a few days. Maybe a droplet of honey too. But usually if the queen eats the eggs she will regain most of the proteins.

This is just an update if you're interested, the queen didn't make it unfortunately. She was a camp. vagus, luckily I have a few more. I'm guessing she was infertile after all.

not to disagree with the fact that she may or may not have been infertile. Just wanted to add that sometimes queens die for unknown reasons within the first year or shortly after.
