There is an argentine ant super colony outside my home, they have driven all other ant species out of the area and I'm worried they will raid my carpenter ants, what do I do, should i worry?

You should put your colony in a safe place or put virgin olive oil around your colony's nest.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony

is your setup closed? Do you leave their feeding insects or food outside, which would release smell that would attract them. Is that colony from the outside a local or invasive species? If invasive you may want to consider getting ride of them if you have to. I mean it would be the best for your local biological thing.
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

I would go straight to diatomaceous earth, just to be safe.
